Individual work
In the context of the new urban landscape, the contrast between the old rural structures becomes increasingly evident, and the traditional houses are unable to fully cater to modern living requirements. As a result, numerous traditional buildings are either undergoing personalized renovations or being left to decay gradually. This situation coexists with the impoverished living conditions and unfavorable environment of rural areas. The objective of the design is to integrate these structures into the countryside through a plug-in approach, thereby establishing fresh spatial relationships between private and communal spaces to accommodate various multifunctional needs. Additionally, I employ Fog Capture as a method to augment water sources and address the prevailing issue of water scarcity.
